Eulela Swinton, 81 of College Station, Texas passed away peacefully on January 31, 2019 in College Station Texas. Cremation services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Center of Bryan-College Station, Texas.
A memorial service will be held at FUMC Bryan on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 5:30 pm. A reception in the Heritage Room will be held immediately following the service.

Even with knowing something of how ill she was, I was shocked to read of her passing.
I think that shock was because Eulela lived life with such vigor that I almost thought of her as invincible. She took on life’s shocks an storms and overcame them. Time with her was never dull.
We often talked about good books, learning French, her life in New York. I will miss her. My condolences to her family and everyone else who loved her and was enriched by her company.
