Dear Jack – We’re saddened to learn of the loss of your mother. We moved to the area in ’94 and had no idea of your connection here, too. It’s been almost 32 years since you were our ‘best man’, and Jimmy was a baby last time we saw you. Please know that our hearts are with you and your family. Kay–My last message was cut off before I finished. I last saw you and your beautiful cakes at my daughter’s wedding — Jennifer Schwart Hubble,
We talked about your mother then and my visits to her at Crestview Court. Nancy Bussell and I used to make sure she got to see the videos of our FUMC church services in the Crestview chapel. I am glad I saw her this year and arranged for Opie and Fay Shepherd to continue to take her the Upper Rooms and our church bulletins.
