Frank Frederick Stillisano

Frank F. Stillisano, 66, of College Station, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, died Tuesday, July 5, 2011, after a heroic battle with cancer. A private family service is planned.

Frank was born August 12, 1944, in East Cleveland, Ohio, to Rocco and LaVonda (Moore) Stillisano and grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, before joining the U.S. Navy.

He spent most of his professional life in the hospitality industry in Florida, Missouri, and Texas, before retiring from Texas A&M University in January 2010.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Jacqueline, of College Station; daughters, Stephanie Stillisano Duke and husband, David, of McKinney, Nicole Stillisano Moody and husband Patrick, of Alvin, and Danielle Stillisano Foley and husband, Josh, of Bryan; sister, Edith Marion, of Paris, Tenn.; and grandsons, Davis Duke and Shamus Foley.

The family would like to express their appreciation to all of the wonderful staff and friends at Hope Cancer Center, College Station Med, Kroger Pharmacy on Longmire, and the St. Joseph Cancer Center in Bryan, who were so caring and supportive during Frank’s illness.
