Gary Jackson, 64, of Bryan, passed away Saturday December 22, 2018. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 5 to 7pm Thursday, December 27, at Callaway-Jones Funeral Center in Bryan. His life will be honored and celebrated at 10am Friday, December 28, at Callaway-Jones Funeral Center, 3001 S College Ave. in Bryan. Interment will follow at Clear Creek Cemetery in Flynn.
Gary was born September 20, 1954 in Gardenia, California, to James and Doris Jackson. He will be remembered as a very mechanical person as well as a talented musician, playing in many different bands.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jimmy Jackson; and an infant sister.
Survivors include his loving wife and best friend, Patricia Jackson; sons, Jason Jackson and wife Jamie, Arron Jackson, Michael Hodges; four grandchildren, Addison and Kyle Jackson, Brady and Reagan Hodges. He is also survived his extended large family of the Brazos County Fleet.
