Condolences

  1. Polly,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss of your mother. It is hard when we lose those we love but on the other hand it is encouraging to know that they are in Heaven smiling down on us. I pray that God will comfort you and your family during this time.
    In Him,
    k

  2. Polly and Johnny,
Jesus brought my ‘second’ mom home sooner than we expected, but she has, afterall, been preparing for this day her whole life. Now she is walking beside him, watching over all of us. She was such a wonderful example of christian love and truly the rock of the family. I have so many fond memories of her that make me smile. I am lucky to have known her. I will miss her alot, but her kind and happy spirit will live on in all of us. I love y’all.

  3. To Merle’s family, she was indeed a wonderful friend, and great lady. She always had a positive attitude, and a great smile. I am so sorry to hear of her death,I know she will be missed by all.I will try to come by funeral home,I just recieved some sad news about one of my grandson,so if I don’t see you, please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

  4. We were deeply saddened to hear of the loss of a very special person. Merle was one of the very finest ladies we have ever met. It was a true joy getting to know her through the Rugged Cross Cowboy Church. Our thoughts and prayers are with Earl and the rest of the family.

  9. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all. Mrs. Mearle was one of the most careing and loving people I have been blessed to know.

  10. When we thought of coming home, home was Aunt Merle. I have so many good memories of her. Warm hugs, my first hair perm and her laugh. Those memories still make me feel close to her and my dad. She will be missed and remembered. Love to all.

  11. White Family. I’m at a loss of words. Aunt Merle was one of the sweetest person I have ever known. She always had a smile on her face and a hug for you when she saw you.

I’m not going to be able to come down for the services due to teaching classes this week, but I’m going to Austin next week and will try to make a quick run to Bryan to see ya’ll next Tuesday.

Just remember all the good times along with the bad times we all had with her. That helps me get by with daddy’s death last year. Will keep ya’ll in my prayers.
