Lupe Reyes Perez, 71, of Dallas, and formerly of Bryan, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2009, in Dallas. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, June 19, 2009 at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan, with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at 9 a.m., Saturday, June 20, 2009, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in College Station, with Monsignor Tom Frank of the San Jose Parish of Austin officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Bryan.

Lupe was born in Cameron, Texas, on May 11, 1938, to Pedro and Felipa Reyes. She lived most her life in the Bryan area before moving to Dallas just two months ago. Before retirement she worked at Readfield’s in Bryan.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Johnny Duron, of Bryan, Rudy and Mary Perez, of Dallas, TX; daughters and sons-in-law, Paula Gaitan and Ted Rodriguez, of Bryan, Joanna and Charlie Guerra, of Bryan, Sonya and Robert Gonzales, of Ft. Worth, Patricia and Mark Castlebury, of Dallas; brothers and sisters-in-law, Alex and Ricarda Reyes, of Bryan, Samuel and Beta Reyes, of Bryan, Pete Jr. and Mary Helen Reyes, of Bryan, Roy Reyes, of Bryan; sister, Alice Reyes, of Bryan; 16 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
