Harold L. “Bud” Cargill

Harold L. (Bud) Cargill, 90, of Bryan, passed away Thursday December 27, 2018 with family at his side. His life will be celebrated with a funeral service at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, 2018 at Emmanuel Baptist Church at Steep Hollow, with interment to follow in the Steep Hollow Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation beginning one hour prior to his services. Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Center is honored to provide services.

Harold was born February 27, 1928 in Chriesmn, Texas, to George and Stella Cargill. He has lived in Bryan for his lifetime and worked as a dairyman and farmer. When he wasn’t working, Harold enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betsy Cargill; brothers, Bobby and Howard Cargill; sister, Louise Wagner; and his parents.

Survivors include his son, Bill Cargill; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda C. and Jerry Nichols, Carolyn and John Woods; sister, Joyce Cargill Martin and husband Fred; grandchildren and spouses, Matt and Dayna Nichols, Reece and Jill Nichols, Tim and Heather Nichols, Gregg and Angie Nichols, Leanne Woods, Clayton and Chelsi Woods, Mindy and Derek Brown, MacKenzie Mazza; great grandchildren, Mattison Nichols, Miranda and Zac Slaton, Mallory Nichols, Will Nichols, Rebecca Nichols, Allison Nichols, Claire Nichols, Grace Nichols, Jillian Nichols, Jack Nichols, Josh Nichols, Jacob Nichols, Elizabeth Nichols, Hagen Mazza; and sisters-in-law, Irene Cargil, and Barbara Cargill.
