Harold Victor Dittfurth

Harold Dittfurth, 60, passed away to be with the Lord Monday night, May 20, 2012, surrounded by his children. A memorial service will be held at 6:30pm, Tuesday, May 22, at Bethel Lutheran Church in Bryan.
Harold was born in Bryan on May 10, 1952, to Victor and Marguerite Dittfurth. He was a graduate of Stephen F. Austin High School and worked as a painter and welder. He then worked for the City of Bryan for several years. Harold was always a country boy and was never seen without his cowboy boots. He competed in rodeos in his younger years and enjoyed his lifelong passion of hunting, fishing, and photography. Harold will always be remembered as a loving father and a devoted Texan.
Harold was preceded in death by his father Victor.
He is survived by his children, Travis and his wife Agata, Amanda, Lauren and her husband Joseph, Beau, and Michelle; grandchildren, Desiree, Ty, Alex, and Raya; mother, Marguerite; and sisters Cynthia, LaNell and her husband Dan.
