Henry Ford Franklin

Henry Ford Franklin Sr., 86, of Bryan passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2007, at Sherwood Health Care Center. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, December 28 at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 29 at Rest-Ever Memorial Park.

Henry was a resident of Bryan since 2004. Prior to his retirement, he was a carpenter and a preacher, pastoring a church in Navasota for 11 years. He served in the U.S. Naval Reserves and was a member of Victory United Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include his wife, Nora Franklin of Bryan; sons and daughters-in-law, Henry F. Franklin Jr. of Navasota, Joel Stephen and Wilma Franklin of Milano, Milton Paul Franklin of Navasota and James Allen and Leady Franklin of Defuniak Springs, Fla.; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra Elaine and Michael Bruce Crenshaw; sister, Lois Jones of Dallas; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
