Hope Boozer, 81, of Bryan, passed away Friday, October 1, 2010, at her residence. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, October 3, 2010, at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m., Monday, October 4, at the funeral home with Rev. Gary Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Willowhole Cemetery.
Hope was born May 15, 1929, in Ft. Worth, Texas, to Floyd and Lillybelle Rich. She has been a resident of this area for more than sixty years.
Survivors include her devoted special companion, “Pops” Melvin Seay, of Bryan; sons and daughters-in-law, Craig and Brenda Armstrong, of Benchley, Floyd and Brenda Armstrong, of Fairfield, Wendell Armstrong, of Oklahoma, Bubba and Shelley Nemec, of Bryan; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and David Williams, of Bryan, Mary and Louis Davis, of Austin, Wanda and Rodney Boyles, of Austin, Kim Bailey, of Bryan; brother, Charles Prigmore, of Ft. Worth; sisters, Helen Prigmore and Bonita Prigmore; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a special mention to Danny and Rachel Seay, and Terris and Jim Crumnow.
