March 22, 1936 – November 26, 2018

Ike Wilganowski, 82, of Bryan (Wixon Valley), passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018, in Bryan. Ike’s family will hold a memorial service honoring his life with a Memorial Service, at 1 p.m., Saturday, January 19, 2019, held at Callaway-Jones Funeral Center, 3001 S. College Avenue, Bryan. Rev. Msgr. John A. McCaffrey will be the celebrant. Services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Center, Bryan-College Station.

Ike was born to Tom and Veronica Kubiak Wilganowski, in Bremond, Tx. He resided his entire life in the Brazos Valley area. Ike was an extremely hard worker and a great salesman in whatever job /career path he pursued. Along the way, he established a variety of friendships throughout the years. Ike was a salesman /self-employed at the time of his passing, with his company Affirmed Medical. He was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bryan.

Both of his parents; wife Anna Mae Muse-Wilganowski; second wife Victoria Podraza-Wilganowski, all preceded him in death.

Survivors include daughters, Verna Kay Robertson and husband Richard, Ann Marie Wilganowski; his granddaughter, Adrianna Jo Robertson; three sisters, Frances, Vicki and Bernadette; nieces and nephews and other relatives.

  1. We were shocked and saddened to read that of Ike’s passing. Ike was a dear sweet man and was very respectful. We have known Ike for many many years. He was very well liked by all. He will be greatly missed. His family is in our thoughts and prayers.

  4. We are so sorry to learn of Ike’s death. We have been long time friends and neighbors and served on the City Council with Ike. Please inform us when the Memorial Service will be.

  5. So sorry to learn of Ike’s passing. I have know him for years and years. We were on the city council of Wixon Valley together for a long time in the beginning. He will be missed by all who knew him.
