Jacqueline Giesenschlag, 62, of Navasota, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018 in Bryan. A private family memorial service will be held a later date. Cremation services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers Bryan-College Station.

Jacqueline was born to Gordon and Margaret Nussburger Karnes on June 17, 1955, in Menomonie, Wisconsin. Jacqueline was active in caring for rescue animals in Grimes County. Jacqueline very much loved and enjoyed being home tending to her multiple flower gardens. She met Robert Giesenschlag with whom she shared marriage for fifteen years. They married on June 6, 2002, in the Navasota area. Jacqueline’s life was about her family, her small circle of friends, and the many animals she provided a safe environment for.

Her parents precede her in death.

Her husband, Robert Judson Giesenschlag; her brother Donald and wife Heather Karnes; her sisters Frances Stock, Connie and her husband Randy Marsh; all survive Jacqueline.
