James ‘Mike’ Dunlap

James ‘Mike’ Dunlap, 51, of Bryan passed away Monday at Sheridan of Bryan. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

He was born in Coral Gables, Fla., and in 1997 he moved from Colorado to Bryan. He was employed with Texas Commercial Waste.

James was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Dunlap. Survivors include his father and step-mother, James ‘Jim’ and Yolanda Dunlap; sisters and brother-in-law, Patricia Armitage of Austin; Julie and Gary Oppenborn of Austin; a niece and numerous nephews.

Memorials may be left to the American Cancer Society, Brazos County Unit, 3207 Briarcrest Dr., Bryan, TX 77802.

  2. Hi I’m from Cincinnati and Mike got me a few kits for free…..certainlly eccentric and entertaining to say the least, but I think he was a good guy deep down….keep trading my friend and God bless

  4. Very very sad news. I don;t have any other words for it. Although we never met (something I still regret) you became a great friend of mine. I really enjoyed the chats we had and it did hurt to hear about the situation you were in in the end. Your generosity did not know any borders and you never asked much back. It tied in countries and went all over the globe.

    You will be missed. May you rest in peace.
