Condolences for the family of “Jan Hall Dozier”

Condolence from Cikndy Brooks on June 15th, 2009 8:46 am

Jan was a wonderful co-worker as well as a fantastic, caring person. I remember I was intimidated by Jan when I first met him many years ago in a business relationship. After working with Jan only a few short days, I discovered he was just a ‘big teddy bear’ and had a heart of gold. Jan will be sorely missed by all that knew him! Jan, continue to watch over all of us as we continue our journey on this earth! We love you!

We offer our sympathy to all of you who loved him, who loved his dry sense of humor, who loved his appreciation of Texas, and who loved to listen to his adventurous (sometimes exaggerated) hunting stories. Jan was our banker for many years before we moved to Victoria thirteen years ago. We’ve kept in touch through our friend, Georgia, and were sad to hear of his passing.

Condolence from Kathy Culbreth on June 16th, 2009 10:09 pm

What an honor and priviledge to have know this man and have as a friend. Jan was without a doubt the most caring and empathic man. He ‘tried’ to be so tuff on the outside, but had the HUGEST heart God ever gave a man. He touched my life many times…lost a dear friend, he understood and felt my paiin, endured and faced controversy, he was there. Never judging, always unconditional! What we have lost, God has gained. My thoughts and prayers are with those left behind who will forever love and miss him! Kathy Culbreth

Condolence from Donna Bauerschlag on June 17th, 2009 5:52 pm

My thoughts and prayers are with Jan’s family. I was so sad when our FNB family broke up after the failure of Franklin Bank. Jan was one of those persons that I missed most. I remember around four o’clock he would start filing the loans baskets with loans to be prepared for the next day, and each would say that it was needed at 9:00 A.M. After his third or fourth trip, when he returned; I would say ‘Another nine o’clock?’ He would say ‘nope 9:15’ 🙂 He was a Great Guy, and will be missed by many.

Condolence from Phyllis Giesenschlag-Tietjen on June 18th, 2009 4:36 pm
