Jane Ellen Stone

A daughter, sister, mother, grandma, great-grandma, and true friend to all, has passed from this life to the next: Jane Ellen Stone, 75, of Caldwell, formerly of Bryan. Honoring her request, a visitation only will be held on Monday, January 20 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home.
Jane Brunson Stone was born to Vernon and Ella Brunson in Navasota. She was the first of two children for Vernon and Ella. She was a graduate from high school in Navasota. She met William Earl Stone in Navasota and married him on January 12, 1957. Together they raised three children. She found her life’s vocation as a daughter, mother, grandma and great-grandma to be her true calling in life. Her four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren will miss her unconditional love. She was an antique enthusiast employed at the Tin Barn in Bryan. She had a great passion about birds especially Cardinals and Humming Birds.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Joyce Northcutt.
Her survivors include her sons, Robert Stone and Morris Barron Stone; her daughter, Connie Stone; grandchildren, Brody William Stone, Michael Cade Stone, Tyler Richard Stone, Stacy Marie Stone and great-grandchildren, Zachary, Caleb and Katie.
