Johnnie Woods, 86, of Bryan, formerly of Livingston, Texas, passed away on Friday, October 18, in his home. His family will receive guests during visiting hours on Sunday, October 20 from 2 to 5 pm at the funeral home. His funeral service will be 9:30am on Monday, October 21 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Blue Springs Cemetery at 3PM in Etoile, Texas. Service arrangements are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory.

Johnnie was born in Camp Worth, Texas to Johnnie and Ellie (Miller) Woods. He enjoyed his youth and went to serve our country during WWII. He served in the Army Air Corp during this time.

Johnnie is proceeded in death by his parents; his sons Winford Woods and Jimmy Woods; his brothers Wallace Woods and Charles Woods; his sisters Effie Woods and Leora Goins; and a grandson John Robert Woods.

His survivors are his wife of forty years, Yvonne Nealy Woods; his son Kevin and daughter-in-law Trina; his daughter Sheila McIntyre; his seven grandchildren Shaun, Misti, Shannon, Derek, Shelly, Skyler, and Abby; and nine great-grand children and one more blessing on the way; and his beloved pet Mollie Ann.

Memorial gifts honoring Johnnie maybe given to the American Heart Association or to a charity of your choice.
