Juanita McDaniel Woodfill, 84, of Bryan, TX, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2019. She was born on January 29, 1935 in Kosse, TX to her parents, Bedford and Viola Lauderdale. She worked for General Telephone Company and most recently it was renamed, Verizon, for 30 years as a prominent Business Representative. Juanita was full of life and enjoyed spending time traveling and country western dancing. She loved to kick her boots up. Juanita was a member of the International Church of God in Tyler and shared her faith with her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, David McDaniel; her second husband, Richard Woodfill; parents, Bedford and Viola Lauderdale; and sister, Mildred Lauderdale.
Juanita is survived by her daughters, Connie Taylor, and Shelia Ward and husband, Joe Ward; grandchildren, Robert Pettit, Mitchell Pettit and wife, KaSandra Pettit, Calvin Ward and wife, Christen Ward, Casey Ward and husband, Michael Leonard; great-grandchildren, Zack Pettit, Marissa Pettit, Amiyah Ward, Natalie Leonard, and Kaynen Ward; sister, Dorothy Guttery; brother, Billy Lauderdale; many nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Brazos Valley Hospice.
