June Whitehead

June Faust Whitehead, 68, of Bryan, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 5, 2011, after a brief, courageous battle with cancer. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2011, at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan.

She was born February 1, 1943, in Marshall, Texas, the daughter of Robert and Lois Faust.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, John Martin Whitehead.

Survivors include her son, Eric Jason Whitehead, U.S. Army, and his children Shelby, Amber and Jason; daughter Anna Whitehead Reddick, U.S. Air Force and her husband Thad Reddick and daughter Abigail Rose Reddick; sister Jane Faust Ford of Houston; brother Robert Henry Faust and wife Sharon of Marshall.

The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to all who expressed their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time in their life. For those desiring, contributions in June’s memory may be directed to a charity of one’s choice.

  3. I didnt know June’s husband or children but I had the pleasure of knowing her mother,father and sister and brother. We talked several times over the years but never got together. Wish we had. I am sad that she died at such a young age. You all are in my thoughts. love to you all sandy (cissy) frank
