Kamala Lesly Wilson, 44, of McDade passed away suddenly in a tragic accident on November 8, 2008, but her light, laughter and love remain as a comfort to us all.
Born in Lynchburg, Virginia on March 16, 1964, Kami traveled the world with her military family, eventually settling in the San Diego area when Kami was 10 years of age. After graduating from Juniperro Serra High School, she developed expertise in many careers including computers, customer service, cosmetology and dental assisting. But her passion was always the four-legged, furry variety and Kam’s love of horses, dogs and cats was legendary. A new trainer for her young horse, Yosemite, led her down a new path in life.
