Kathryn Elizabeth Wasson, 79, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2009, at her residence. Graveside memorial services are set for 10 a.m., Monday, August 31, 2009, at the Franklin Cemetery, with Rev. Charles Weber officiating.
She was born December 25, 1929 to William and Madie Boatman in McAlester, Oklahoma. Before her retirement she worked for Shell Oil Co.
She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Wasson.
Survivors include her husband Odis Wasson, of Franklin, TX; daughters, Diane Dodd, of Austin, TX, and Rebecca Doolittle, of Houston, TX; five grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
We are forever indebted to the Wassons for their helping hands and loving deeds for our family .We mourn the loss of our friend and our thoughts and prayers are with Otis

Odis, Kathryn was a dear friend,.We have enjoyed many good laughs together. I’ll never forget how gracious you both were to Bill, my brother, when he played 72 with the group. He enjoyed you, and you and Kathryn made him feel especially welcome. God bless you and keep you, and please know that you re in my prayers.
