Landon Lee Svatek

Landon Lee Svatek, 32, of College Station, passed away on January 18, 2019.  Born Laura Lee Svatek on August 1, 1986 in Houston, Texas, he was the child of Pam and Jerome Svatek.  He met the love of his life, Brianne Bokelmann, on November 14, 2008 and they were married on April 23, 2016.  Landon was an amazing father to their three wonderful children; Rory, Rayleigh, and Rollins.  He loved playing with his children and spoiling his wife with his precious gifts of love, patience, and understanding.

Landon grew up in the Cypress, Texas area and was active in Girl Scouting, Christ The Redeemer Catholic Community, and attended Cy-Fair schools.  Landon was active in sports and played both baseball and basketball.  He also had a great love for music and played French Horn in the Cy-Fair High School Band and served as Drum Major of the marching band his Junior and Senior Years.

Following high school, Landon attended college and received his physical therapy license and worked as a massage therapist for several years.  Landon continued his studies and received his credentials to work in the health industry providing billing and coding services until his passing.

Landon is survived by his wife, Brianne; two sons, Rory and Rollins; one daughter, Rayleigh; two brothers, Jason and Kevin; parents, Jerome and Pam Svatek; and grandmother, Etta Brown.

He was preceded in death by grandfather, Millard (Sonny) Brown and grandparents, Joe & Frances Svatek.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 24, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Callaway-Jones Funeral Center in Bryan.

He will be honored with a Celebration of Life Service at Friends Congregational Church in College Station at 10:00 am Friday, January 25. Interment will follow at 3:00 pm in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Flatonia, Texas followed by a reception and meal at the Svatek residence in Flatonia.
