Lee Walker


Lee Walker 82, formerly of Normangee, Texas went to be with his family and friends in heaven on September 14, 2015 in Bryan, Texas.

Visitation will be 2:00 pm, Friday September, 18, at St Michael’s Chapel, 2402 S College Ave. Bryan, TX. Donations can be made to the The Wounded Warrior Project at PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.

Lee was born and raised in Ellis County, one of three boys of Lucille and Dutch Walker. He was a Veteran of the Army, serving in England while assigned to the Air Force division. He returned to the states to start his career as an auto and farm equipment mechanic in Corsicana, Texas. In 1995 Lee retired while living in Normangee, Texas playing with his dogs and enjoying travel, family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years Charlotte Walker, brother Joe (Brenda) Walker, Uncle, Earnest Sims, Son, Robby (Yvonne) Walker, daughter, Suzy Walker (Pablo Castillo) and 5 step children and spouses, 19 grandchildren, 20 great grand children.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lucille and Dutch Walker, brother and 2 sisters in laws Larry, Margie and Charlotte Walker, daughter Janet Threet, grandson Brandon Walker and great grandson Garrett Haney.
