Inurnment service for both sisters will be at 12 noon Tuesday August 2, 2016 in Oakland Cemetery in Navasota. Services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers.

Paula and Luisa were born, respectively, to Pete Manyose and Celistina Ybarra Manyose in Navasota. Although there is a seven-year difference between these two sisters they shared a unique relationship as no other. Paula was truly the big sister keeping watch over her younger sister Luisa. These two would favor so much that you would consider them twins. Paula’s children considered themselves lucky to have a biological mom who loved unconditionally and to have an aunt that loved them as her own. Everyone considered Luisa as a mother she was always there for every body. She had a big heart. It’s only in God’s mystery of his love for us all that these two sisters who cared so much for each other would begin to experience failing health together and to be called home within days of each other’s passing from this life to the next. Luisa and Paula loved life to the fullest. They both loved animals, traveling, shopping and spending time with the family.

Pete and Celistina Manyose, parents of Paula and Luisa; their brother Pedro Costello, and Sunday Manyose; sister-in-law Connie Manyose; Paula’s daughter and son-in-law Nine and Lupe Luna, all precede them in death.

Luisa and Paula are survived by their siblings Mike Manyose, Paul Manyose, Martha Garcia; Paula’s children survive her Cleto Garcia Jr., Melinda Becker and husband Steven, Mary Speelman and husband Mark; her nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; Paula and Luisa loved their pets as family; numerous nieces and nephews along with the greats all survive these two ladies.

Your gift of love in memory of Paula and Luisa can be given to the Wounded Warrior Project, Breast Cancer, and Law Enforcement charities, in their memory.

Condolences

  1. ‘I will lift up my eyes unto the hills –
    From whence comes my help?
My help comes from the Lord,
    who made heaven and earth’.
    (Psalm 121:1-2)

This passage was given to me (by my personal pastor) when my mother passed away in 1995, and to this day it still gives me strength to carry on.

My prayer is that it does the same for you….
Remain encouraged, for the Lord is with you, and He will never leave nor forsake you.
    I’m a living testimony of that….:)

Always remember that I am only a phone call or a few key punches away…love you all.

    Sincerely,
    Vernon Moore
