Malinda Ann Johnson, 64, of Bryan, passed away Monday, February 9, 2009, at Sheridan in Bryan. Graveside services are set for 11 a.m. Thursday, February 12, 2009, at Smetana Cemetery, with Pastor Jonathan Poe of Covenant Family Church officiating. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2009, at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan.

Malinda was born in Abilene, Texas. She resided in Smetana and also lived in the Bryan/College Station area for 40 years. She worked as a nurse for 30 years in Bryan/College Station and retired from Crestview Nursing Facility.

She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Carl Johnson, and her parents James and Pearline Austin.

Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Mike and Marietta Henley, of Bryan, Mark Henley, of Bryan; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Scott Riley, of Tuscon, AZ; grandchildren, Tiffany, Cody, and Robby Henley, all of Bryan, Justin Featherston, of Bryan, Jason Featherston, of Tuscon, AZ, and Kaila and Jamie Henley, of Bryan.
