Maria de Lourdes Waters, 71, of College Station passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018 in Houston. A visitation will begin at 10:00, Saturday, March 3, followed by a rosary recited at 10:45; Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:30 am, at:St. Mary’s Catholic Center, 603 Church Street, College Station.

Maria de Lourdes Waters was born in Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico on May 17, 1946 and was proud to become a Naturalized U.S. Citizen. Lourdes, sometimes referred to as Luly, Lulu, Mrs. Johnson and Lulu Bear. was born to Antonio H Guerra and Carmen Lydia Alarcon. She is preceded in everlasting life by her Mother and Father and her lovely sister Carmen Guerra Salazar. She worked hard and had successful careers in Radio Broadcasting Sales and Human Resources with Fortune 500 Companies. She was proud to have received some prestigious awards for quality excellence and meeting Philip B Crosby. She is survived by her lovely daughters, Paulette Suchodolski, Lourdes Guerra, and sons, Ivan Waters and Porfirio Waters. She moved to College station and enjoyed many adventures with her grandchildren, Geoffrey Waters, Yancy Waters, Corbin Waters, Savannah Waters, Brianna Turentine, Slade Turentine ,Rylan Turentine, Sofia Fey Suchodolski and Ella Suchodolski y Joe Waters.
