April 18, 1931 – August 14, 2018

Marie A. Tucker, 87, of Bryan, has gone to be with the Lord, and those loved ones gone before her. A visitation will be from 6 to 8pm, Friday, August 17, 2018, at Callaway-Jones Funeral Centers. Cremation services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers, Bryan-College Station.

Marie was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Arthur and Theodora Bergamasco. She later settled in Paris, Texas where Marie attended Paris High School. Then on to St. Paul’s School of Nursing in Dallas, Texas. Marie married Donald D. Tucker, of Houston; they raised a family as they traveled the world. Her husband Donald was in the military serving his country for twenty-five years. Major Tucker and Marie settle in Bryan, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of sixty-two years.

Marie is survived by her children, Daniel G. Tucker and wife Glenda, Dona Marie Tucker, and Douglas G. Tucker and wife Lynn; her grandchildren, Gregory W. Tucker, Micha Tucker Welsh, Wendy Tucker Henley and husband T. J. Henley, and Anna Marie Tucker; also, her great-grandchildren Caleb Henley and Zoe Henley.

In lieu of flowers Marie requested contributions to The Disabled American Veterans Association.

I was fortunate to have been a part of her life these last three years.
