Marion McKee Deans
March 4, 1933 – May 24, 2015

Marion Deans, 82, of Brazos County, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at the Hospice Brazos Valley Inpatient Facility in Bryan.Cremation services are in care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory in Bryan College Station, Texas.

Born in Brady, Texas, to Earl and Beryl McKee Deans on March 4, 1933. Mr. Deans served honorably in the US Army, just prior to entry in the military he graduate from Texas A&M where he was a member of the Corp of Cadets. He married the love of his life Marylyn Cox on May 13, 1961. Mr. Deans enjoyed fishing, cattle and goat ranching. He was a member of the Christian Science Chruch.

His survivors include his wife Marylyn Deans of 54 years; his son Robert Deans; his daughter Jamie Cargill and husband Kenneth; his brother David Deans and wife Annette; his two grandchildren Matt and Kaley Cargill.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be given in memory of Mr. Deans to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Society. Expression of condolence can be made at callawayjones.com

  1. We have a wonderful picture of Mack Deans marrying the love of his life, my sister Marylyn Cox, in 1961. We will miss him along with his family and many friends.
