Mary Garcia Anderson, 78, of Bryan, passed away Thursday evening July 18, 2013 at Magnified Health and Rehab in College Station. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m., Monday July 22, at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan. Funeral services are set for 10 a.m., Tuesday July23, 2013 at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Bryan City Cemetery. The Rev. David Murphy will officiate. Services are under the direction of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory.

Mary was born August 14, 1934, in Navasota, Texas, to Pedro and Guadalupe Sanchez Garcia. After moving from Navasaota, she has lived in Bryan for 60 years and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hershell “Andy” Anderson; brothers, Isidro Garcia and Hilario Garcia; sisters, Lucy Ostiguin and Josephine Garcia Medina; and her parents.

Survivors include her nephew, Theodore Ostiguin; sisters, Janie Garcia Ramirez and Matilde Garcia Pena; and numerous other nephews and nieces.
