Merle Donnelly Vairin, 90, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2009, at Hudson Creek Alzheimer’s Special Care Center in Bryan, Texas. A memorial service is set for 10 a.m., Saturday, February 28, 2009, at Hope Evangelical Free Church, 5376 Raymond Stotzer Parkway, College Station, TX, 77845.

A native of New Orleans Louisiana, Merle has been a resident of Bryan, TX, since 2007.

Merle was the beloved wife of the late John P. Vairin, daughter of the late Leah Jordan Donnelly and Frank Donnelly Sr., and sister of the late Helen Donnelly Burlet and Frank Donnelly Jr.

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Diane Newman and Michael Worsteel, of Thousand Oaks, CA, Marcia Newman and Walter Vajdak, of Snook, TX, Cathy Vairin and L. Dane Murphree Jr, of Belle Chasse, LA, and Terry Ann Vairin, of Jefferson, LA; six grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
