Milton Caperton

A gathering for Milton Caperton, 48, is set for 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan.

Mr. Caperton died Sunday at his home. He had been a resident of Bryan for 40 years.

Survivors include a son, Buddy Ryan Caperton of Corpus Christi; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Nathan Caperton of Austin, and Michael and Paulette Caperton of Mexia; a sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Dennis Allen of College Station; his mother, Sue Nan Caperton of Bryan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, 4801 LaCrosse Ave., Austin, Texas 78739.
