Mitchell McMillan Jr

Mitchell McMillan Jr., 81, of Bryan, passed away June 30, 2017 at Hospice Brazos Valley in Bryan, Texas. Graveside services are set for 10 am on Friday July 7, 2017 at the Franklin Cemetery with Certified Celebrant Dawn Lee Wakefield officiating. Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Earl Graham Post 159 of Bryan. Services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers of Bryan College Station.

Mitchell was born January 18, 1936 in Franklin, Texas, to Mitchell McMillan Sr. and Nellie Liles. He graduated from Texas A&M University Class of 1974 with a degree in Engineering Technology. He was a proud veteran the United States Navy, and severed honorably during the Korean War.

Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Janette McMillan of Bryan; son, Rob McMillan and wife Paula; daughter, Heather Thoele; sister, Joyce Zemanek and husband Charles; and grandchildren, Brahm and Brianna McMillan and Joseph and Ian Thoele.
