Barbara Aston Randall passed on to be with the Lord on March 14, 2026.
Barbara was born in Ashland, Pennsylvania, to William and Enrica Aston. She graduated from Immaculate Heart High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Immaculate College in Philadelphia. She worked as a computer programmer and mathematician for General Electric Space Division before marrying Robert E. Randall (Bob) and moving to Providence, RI, where she worked for the University of Rhode Island.
Barbara and Bob later moved to College Station, Texas, where she earned a Master of Computer Science form Texas A&M University. She served as an Instructor in the Computer Science Department at Texas A&M and later worked at RRC and Metrica.
Barbara was a long-time member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, serving as a liturgical minister, eucharistic minister, offering counter, and Sunday school teacher. She volunteered with Aggie Swim Club, Crestview Retirement Community, and St. Joseph Hospital. Barbara loved skiing, dancing, traveling, gardening, swimming, bridge, and morning walks. She was cherished by her many friends for her warmth and attentiveness, fully present in conversations and making them feel truly special. She was also cherished for her chocolate chip cookies.
She is survived by her husband, Bob; sons, Brian (Holly) and Neil (Allison); and grandchildren, Hope Borgstede (Justin), Christian, and Samuel Randall.

A memorial mass will be taking place at 10am on Friday, March 20, 2026 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Following the service, there will be an hour long reception for friends and family to visit and share fellowship. Graveside service is set to begin at 1pm at Aggie Field of Honor & Memorial Cemetery located at 3800 Raymond Stotzer Pkwy, College Station, TX 77845.
