Belinda Jo Nolan, a beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, Mimi, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025, just a few days short of her 61st birthday. Born on November 28, 1964, to Connie Callon Ratliff and Johnnie Lou Ratliff, she left a profound impact on those who had the honor of knowing her.

Throughout her life, Belinda dedicated over 25 years to the TAMU Research Foundation/Sponsored Research Services, where her hard work and commitment were recognized through numerous promotions and advancements. Her career not only fulfilled her professional ambitions but also connected her with cherished friends who became like family during her time there.

Belinda was an avid camper and cherished the moments spent at the lake and beach, embracing the great outdoors. She found joy in crafting, bead art, puzzles, and coloring, immersing herself in creative endeavors that brought her delight. However, nothing brought her greater happiness than her role as “Mimi”—a title she embraced with love and pride. Affectionately known as “Bee,” she had a special fondness for bees, embodying nurturing qualities that mirrored the essence of these busy little creatures.

Family was the cornerstone of Belinda’s life. Her devoted husband, Lloyd Nolan, and her sons, Donovan Blair and Kenley Blair, along with his wife, Taylor, were central to her being. She found immense joy in watching her grandson, Declan Blair, grow and thrive. Belinda's heart swelled with pride for her stepsons, Nathan and Justin Nolan, who complemented her family in unique ways. She was a loving daughter to her mother, Johnnie Ratliff, and shared a special bond with her siblings, Calvin Ratliff and Cindy Owen, along with her brother-in-law, Leslie Nolan, and sister-in-law, Rhonda Nolan. The love she shared extended to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and cousins, who will carry her spirit with them always.

Belinda’s infectious laughter and vibrant personality made her the life of any gathering. Memories of vacations and family reunions are fondly recalled by all who knew her, filled with laughter and togetherness. She was a devoted Christian, and even through her illness and final days, her unwavering love for the Lord shone brightly.

As she joins her father, Connie Ratliff, and her beloved relatives, Larry Nolan, Milton Nolan, and Peggy Nolan, in Heaven, those left behind will forever cherish the legacy of love and joy she imparted. Belinda Jo Nolan’s beautiful spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of her family, friends, and colleagues, reminding us all of the importance of love, laughter, and togetherness.
