Betty Lou Martin went home to her Savior Jesus on April 26, 2026, at home where she was surrounded by her loving family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Virgil Litchford and Julie Galick Litchford.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Roger Martin, her daughter Stacey Haferkamp and husband Michael, her son Jason Martin and wife Terah. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren Haley Haferkamp and future-husband James Rychlik, Christopher Haferkamp, Kaden Martin, and Joshua Martin as well as great-grandchildren Dean Rychlik and Hannah Byars. In addition, her close as a sister friend and traveling buddy, Kathy Martin.

Betty graduated from SFA in 1965. She was a loving and loyal wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of Calvary Fellowship Church for over 40 years and was strong in her faith.

Betty laughed hard and loved fiercely. Everyone loved to hear her joyous laugh, and it is already greatly missed.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Enhabit Hospice, specifically Bruce and Mandy, for their compassion and care.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 6-8pm at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place the following day on Friday at 3:30 pm with burial to follow at Old Smetana Cemetery.
