Brian Daniel Moore was born April 22, 1977, to Martha Jane and Dan Moore in Corpus Christi, TX. Brian and his family lived in Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi and established roots in Conroe, TX during Brian’s sophomore year of high school. Brian loved playing baseball since his little league age and especially was a loyal Astros fan. Brian achieved the rank of Eagle Scout at age 15 with strong encouragement from his parents. Brian is the oldest of four siblings and loved being a big brother to his brother, Eric, and sisters, Angela and Michelle.

Brian entered Texas A&M in the fall of 1995 to study Mechanical Engineering. Brian was a part of BYX during his years at Texas A&M. His BYX brothers remained some of his dearest friends throughout his life. Brian graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. He was the loudest, proudest member of the fightin’ Texas Aggie class of ’99, the last class of the millennium.

After graduation, Brian started a new job at Williams, and at the last minute he went to Kansas City for new job training and met a Texas Aggie gal at Bible Study Fellowship. A year later he married the love of his life, Carri Dawn, November 24, 2001.

Brian and Carri began their life together in Houston and attended Houston’s First Baptist and were members of the Newlywed and Close Class. Brian and Carri then resided for three years in San Antonio, TX where they welcomed their first son, Andrew Daniel in 2004, and their only daughter, Emily Grace in 2005. They then moved their young family to Mullica Hill, New Jersey where they welcomed Matthew William to the family in 2007. In 2008, Brian and Carri relocated to Wichita, Kansas where they welcomed their youngest, Jacob Graham to Team Moore.

In 2013, the family moved back to Texas and lived in Katy as Brian continued to work in the oil, gas, and pipeline industry. Brian often said there was no other place to go to church than Houston’s First Baptist because Pastor Gregg’s leadership from his Breakaway days at Texas A&M were pivotal to his walk with the Lord. Brian and Carri nurtured their children in faith, truth, and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Their family was involved with homeschool, co-op groups, baseball teams, intercessory prayer team, Teen Pact camps and church communities in which Brian served with other men and families to raise up young men and young ladies to live and love like Jesus.

Brian and Carri then moved their family to Hempstead, TX in 2019 where they built their dream home with enough space for Brian and the boys to build an outdoor batting cage and enjoy time together on the basketball court. Brian loved being outdoors and having adventures with his family.

Throughout these years, Brian had the opportunity to provide for his family through engineering work, but his true passion was nurturing his children in their faith, reminding Emily of her value and worth in the Lord’s eyes as a beloved daughter of the King, raising his sons to be protectors, providers and priests of their future homes, and loving and supporting Carri in all things. Brian’s legacy of faith and love will live through Carri and each of their children.

Brian’s life was deeply impacted by many mentors and friends who encouraged and pushed him to excellence and a deeper faith in the Lord.

Brian passed from this life into the eternal presence of Jesus on Sunday, November 2, 2025. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends, but we do not grieve without hope because we praise God for Brian’s life and his willingness to be a clay pot molded by the Potter for greater service than Brian could have ever dreamed or imagined.
