Connie Sue Vitulli was born on September 16, 1958 and passed away peacefully at her home in Kurten, Texas on July 6, 2025 at the age of 66, with her family by her side. She was a woman of unwavering dedication to her family, her friends, and her faith.
Connie was born to Wilbur and Myrtie Lindsey. She was born and raised in Houston, Texas along with three brothers and one sister, and had many great childhood memories. Growing up and into adulthood, Connie loved spending time with her grandparents, Grace and Elton Wossum. They were a guiding influence in her life and a shining example of love, strength, and faith—qualities she carried with her.
Connie attended Waltrip High School in Houston, Texas. After graduating high school she met Ronnie in 1977 and they married in 1981. Not long after that they started a family and had three children; Nicole, Christina, and Ronnie Jr. Their family moved from Houston to Kurten, Texas in 1997 to live at “the farm”, a place the whole family loved so much and spent most of their weekends at prior to living there. She enjoyed spending time with Ronnie working on the property and building her dream home that she loved sharing with others throughout the years.
While living in Houston, she ran an in-home daycare where she loved and cared for numerous children for 16 years. Once living in Kurten, she made a career change and worked at Cornerstone Mortgage from 1998 to 2015. In 2015, she began working at The Bush School of Government & Public Service at Texas A&M University and retired from there in September 2020.
Connie had a special gift for making people feel loved and cared for. She found joy in the little things: taking weekend road trips, watching true crime shows and court trials, and most of all, being surrounded by Ronnie, her children, and grandchildren. Her love and presence were a constant comfort to her family and friends.
A devoted member of Faith Bible Church, Connie and Ronnie deepened their faith and built lifelong friendships in their church family. She loved serving others and lived a life marked by kindness, generosity, and compassion. After retirement, one of her favorite activities was attending the Young at Heart Thursday Bible Study.
Connie is preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Myrtie Lindsey and her father-in-law and mother-in-law Ramon and Carolyn Vitulli. She is survived by her husband of nearly 44 years, Ronnie, daughter Nicole Vitulli and her children Madison, Anthony, and Presley; daughter Christina Court, husband Chris and their children Christopher, Kyleigh, and Landon; son Ronnie Jr., wife Kim and their children Reese and Wyatt; two great-grandchildren Emerson and Ezrah, and many extended family members that were so dear to her.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Cobb at MD Anderson, Dr. Fleener and Pam Criscitiello both at the Cancer Clinic, and Hospice Brazos Valley who provided Connie with such kind, attentive, and compassionate care. Your support and dedication brought comfort to both Connie and her loved ones during her journey and her final days, and they are deeply grateful.
