Consuelo Gutierrez, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2026, in College Station, Texas, at the age of 64.

Consuelo was a woman whose life was defined by love, kindness, strength, and selflessness. Those who knew her often described her as humble, honest, peaceful, patient, loving, kind, beautiful, caring, humorous, and hardworking. She had a gentle spirit and a heart that always seemed to have room for one more person. One of the ways she showed her love was by feeding everyone around her. Bringing family and friends together around a meal was one of the many ways Consuelo made people feel cared for and at home.

Consuelo worked as a chef and cook at the Hilton Hotel, where her hard work and dedication reflected the same qualities she brought to every part of her life. She took great pride in caring for others, both through her work and, even more importantly, through her family.

Her greatest accomplishments were not measured by titles or possessions, but by the people she loved. She was deeply proud to be a wife, a mother to ten wonderful children, a grandmother, a sister, and a daughter. She loved her family wholeheartedly and cherished family gatherings and the time they spent together.

Consuelo shared a beautiful and loving marriage with her husband, Marcelino Pineda. From the moment Marcelino first laid eyes on her, he knew they would be together until her last breath. Their marriage was filled with love, laughter, and companionship. Marcelino especially cherished how much they laughed together and the simple moments of caring for her, including rubbing her feet. Their love was a testament to the beauty of a life shared side by side.

Consuelo also found joy in the simple things. She enjoyed pedicures and massages, spending time with her family, feeding those she loved, and gathering everyone together. She loved following Jesus, and her faith was an important part of who she was.

Throughout her life, Consuelo faced many challenges and overcame many of her fears. Her strength, perseverance, and courage were an inspiration to those around her. She never stopped showing up for the people she loved, and her legacy will live on through the family she devoted her life to.

Consuelo is survived by her loving husband, Marcelino Pineda; her children, Cristina Sanchez, Humberto Pineda, Yuriria Padilla, Marcelino Pineda Jr., Adrian Pineda, Nancy De La Cruz, Josue Pineda, Moises Pineda, Aron Pineda, and Quelia Darby; her sister Gloria Velazquez, and her grand babies that she loved so dearly. She was a cherished mother and grandmother and leaves behind a family who will carry her love and memory with them always.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Maria Luisa Murillo, and her sons-in-law, Ramiro Padilla and Alfredo De La Cruz.

Consuelo's life was a gift to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her laughter, kindness, patience, faith, and unconditional love will never be forgotten. Though she is no longer physically with her family, the love she gave so freely will continue to live on in their hearts, and all those whose lives she touched.

Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is now at peace and resting in the presence of Jesus. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
