Daniel Ramirez Estrada Sr., 65, of Bryan, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side. A visitation is set for Thursday, September 3, from 1pm until service time at 2pm; all at Callaway-Jones Funeral Center located at 3001 S. College Ave, Bryan, TX 77801.

Born February 8, 1961, in Austin, Texas, Daniel was the son of Jose and Janie Estrada and husband to the love of his life, Sylvia Estrada, of 42 years. Daniel was a god-fearing man that wasnt afraid to show his love for God, his family, and his love for football. Whether you saw him barbecuing for his family preparing for a big game, or taking a quiet day on the water fishing, he found joy in the simple things in life. More than anything, Daniel loved his family. They meant everything to him, and he enjoyed every chance he had to be with them. Daniel’s consistent effort to always give a helping hand, ability to fill a room with laughter, and presence of his heart of gold remain the base foundation of the legacy he will be remembered by.

He is preceded in death by his parents Jose and Janie Estrada; daughter, Karisma Estrada; his four brothers, Jacinto, Joe Jr, Ruben, and, Michael Anthony; and one sister, Martha Estrada. Daniel leaves behind to cherish his memories, his wife of 42 years, Sylvia Briones Estrada, three sons, Joshua Briones and wife Iris, Daniel Estrada Jr and wife Arlinda, Michael Estrada and wife Adriana, and three daughters, Veronica Briones, Danielle Estrada and husband Crispin Jr, April Contreras and husband Jose Sr; twin brother, David Ramirez Estrada Sr and wife Maria, three sisters, Lucy Estrada, Joanna Estrada Salazar, and Susan Marie Ramirez; twenty-five grandkids and eleven great grand kids whom he cherished; numerous nieces and nephews; and longtime brother/friend Arnoldo ‘Popo’ Contreras.
