Donna
Lamarche
November 9, 1948 – April 1, 2026
Donna Lamarche, 77, passed away peacefully on April 1st in Conroe, Texas. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness and warmth touched everyone who knew her.
Born in Oregon, Donna lived a life centered around caring for others. She was deeply devoted to her sons, Mark and Michael, always putting her family first and offering unwavering love and support throughout their lives. Her heart was always focused on family, and nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her grandchildren, Eli and Olivia. Whether it meant making the drive to watch a softball game or sitting proudly at an orchestra concert, she never wanted to miss a moment of their lives.
Donna had a deep love for working with her alpacas, something that brought her both peace and happiness. She was known for her gentle spirit, her kindness, and her ability to make others feel loved. She truly had a heart for people and was always looking for ways to show that love.
She was also a proud and enthusiastic mother. When her son Mark played soccer growing up, Donna could always be heard cheering louder than anyone else on the field—something that will always be remembered with a smile.
Donna met her beloved husband, Alex, through a ski club, and they were married in 1973. They later moved from Chicago to Bryan/College Station, Texas, where they built their life together and raised their two sons, Mark and Michael. For over 40 years, Donna was a devoted member of her church family, where her faith and love for others were evident in the way she lived and cared for those around her.
Donna is survived by her sons, Mark and Michael; her grandchildren, Eli and Olivia; and her sisters, Sheryl and Amy.
She is now reunited in heaven with her husband, Alex, and is at peace in the presence of her Heavenly Father.
Donna’s love, strength, and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
