Eunice Jerry Alexander

Jerry Alexander fell asleep in the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.

A visitation followed by a Rosary and Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 2 beginning at 11:00 am at Callaway-Jones Funeral Center, 3001 S. College Ave in Bryan, Texas. She will rest alongside her husband of nearly 62 years, Nicholas Alexander, Jr. (class of 1954) at the Aggie Field of Honor Memorial Cemetery, 3800 Raymond Stotzer Parkway in College Station, Texas.

Jerry was born in Galveston, raised in Texas City and attended Texas City High School where she was a Stingray cheerleader, on the yearbook staff, involved in several clubs and was a member of the student council. She remained in contact with many high school friends and greatly enjoyed their reunions. She loved the beach, enjoyed movies and was an excellent dancer. She learned to cook Italian food and participated in an active social life.

After graduation from high school in 1954, she attended John Sealy School of Nursing (UTMB) and graduated with an RN credential. She worked in the field of nursing for many years.

Jerry and Nick were married in Galveston on December 12, 1959. Together, they raised four daughters: Stacy Dill (Terrance), Lisa Klopfenstein (Karl), Stephanie Fono (Andrew), and Nicole Durbin (Robert). They enjoyed eleven grandchildren: Justin Humphries, Nicholas and Kathleen Dill, Klay, Kylar and Kasey Klopfenstein (Vanessa), Alissa Fono Nixon (David), Carolyn Taylor Fono, McKenna Fono (Cole Westland) as well as Riley and Jack Henry Durbin. Nick and Jerry are also survived by four great-grandchildren.

Our mom is preceded in death by her parents, Hazel Inez Brown Sessions and Clinton Thomas Sessions and sister, Patricia Myers.

She is survived by her sister, Janice Whicker, as well as numerous special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
