Gary Cooper Jules Guilbeau, 79 of Bryan, TX, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 26, 2026. Born on March 14, 1947, in Scott, Louisiana, to Oren and Doris Broussard Guilbeau, Gary was a man who touched every life he encountered with warmth, kindness, and an unforgettable spirit. He was deeply loved by anyone who knew him and will be remembered as someone truly special. A skilled tradesman in the floor covering industry, Gary took great pride in his work and was well known for his meticulous attention to every square foot of detail. Beyond his craftsmanship, he was admired for his consistently positive attitude and the joy he brought to everyday life. Above all, Gary’s greatest love and devotion was reserved for his family, whom he cherished with all his heart.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Carolyn Guilbeau of Beaumont, Texas; his son Gary Wayne Guilbeau and wife Katie, and their children Nathan, Gia, and Ava; his daughter Angela Huie and husband Bryan, and their children Lillian and Ethan; and his son Jonathan and his life partners Autumn and Rae. Gary’s family was the center of his world, and the memories they created together will forever be treasured.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 2nd, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Cooper’s Barbecue in College Station. All who knew and loved Gary are warmly invited to join in sharing stories, laughter, and the special spirit he brought into the world.
