George Luis Yourgules

July 4, 1961 — May 24, 2025

Bryan, Texas

George Luis Yourgules, a cherished husband, father, and friend, graced this world from his birth on July 4, 1961, in Douglass, Arizona, until his peaceful departure from life on May 24, 2025, at his home in Bryan, Texas. He was a man of simple pleasures, whose legacy is woven into the hearts of his loved ones and the memories of those blessed to have known him.

As a master plumber, George dedicated himself to the craft he loved, establishing Alpha Wolf Plumbing, a venture he owned and carried on until his well-deserved retirement in October 2024. Each project was approached not just as a job but as an opportunity to lend a helping hand, embodying his steadfast commitment to quality and service that extended far beyond the pipes and fixtures he worked with. His profession was a reflection of his character—strong, reliable, and deeply caring.

Described as a "good man" who always put his family first, George was a dependable pillar for those around him, ready to step in when others were in need. Friends and neighbors knew him not just as George, but as a father figure, a mentor, and a guiding light during challenging times. His kindness and generosity shone through in every interaction, illuminating the lives of his loved ones and the wider community alike.

In his quiet moments, George found solace in tending to his lawn and garden, where he nurtured more than just plants; he cultivated a sanctuary of peace that mirrored the love he extended to others. He embraced life with a simplicity and authenticity that is often rare in this world—a straightforwardness that endeared him to all who had the privilege of crossing his path.

George leaves behind his beloved wife Jerri, a steadfast partner in life and love; his daughter Destiny Yourgules, who continues to carry forward his spirit; and his grandson Wesley Royal Singleton, who brought immense joy and laughter to George’s life. His two sisters, Jodi and Martha Dobrovolsky (sister-in-law), along with his extended family members—Allison Reimer, Anna Collins, Clare Collins, and Shane Hunsaker—will remember him fondly and hold dear the countless memories shared throughout the years.

As we reflect on George’s life and the innumerable ways he touched us, we are reminded that true strength lies not only in what we achieve but in how we uplift those around us. His legacy will endure in the hearts of many, preserved in the stories told and the lives he has forever changed. George Luis Yourgules, the man who filled our lives with warmth and compassion, shall be missed but never forgotten.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 4th, 2025, this would of been George's 64th birthday.
