Jeffery Wayne (Jeff) Woods, age 65 of Bryan, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2026. He was born on July 20, 1960, in Houston, Texas to Kenneth Wayne Woods and Janet Pearce Woods. His family moved to Bryan in 1960, where Jeff would grow up and attend school in Bryan and graduate from Bryan High School in 1978. At the age of 16, Jeff began working as a stock boy and grocery sacker for Piggly Wiggly on Texas Avenue in Bryan. His love for the grocery store business led him to a dedicated career with Skaggs Albertson’s in College Station, Midland/Odessa and Arlington, Texas. His strong work ethic earned him a path in the grocery store business to eventually become a grocery manager for Albertson’s.

Jeff grew up hunting, fishing, and riding horses with his family and friends. He developed a true love for the game of golf and spent many years on the golf course. After many years away from his family, Jeff moved to Camp Creek Lake, Franklin, Texas to live and spent many days fishing alongside his dad on the lake. If you knew Jeff, his happiest days were in a boat and a fishing rod in his hands. He will be remembered for his generosity and kind heart.

Jeff is predeceased by his father, Kenneth Wayne Woods, (1935-2012). He leaves behind his mother, Janet Woods of Navasota, his sister, Tracy Owens and brother-n-law Billy Owens of Millican. His nephew Koby Owens & Wendy Hart, and great nephew, Sutton Wayne Owens of Navasota. His brother, Cliff Woods & Lisa Culbertson of Iola. His nephew, Ethan Paul Woods, great niece, Paisley Woods, and great nephew, Levi Woods of Bryan.
