John Drake Munson passed into heaven on Sunday, August 2 in Bryan, Texas after battling Lewy Body Dementia. He was born on May 31, 1949 in Springfield, Massachusetts. John is predeceased by his first wife, Patricia, who passed in 2015. They were married on January 25, 1975. John is survived by his children Lisa Brooks and Susan Pickens, and his grandchildren Brandon Krauskopf, Grant Pickens, and Rylan Brooks. John remarried Peggy Jo Stone on September 7, 2021. John spent a significant part of his career working in the high-tech industry at Motorola, Eagle Signal, Texas Instruments, Dell Computer, and CVS Health. He retired in 2015 and relocated to College Station, Texas to be close to his family. In retirement John was active in his church at Central. John had a life-long love of music, playing the guitar and piano, and playing games.
