Judy Kay Rinehart

July 25, 1948 — November 6, 2025

Bryan, Texas

Judy Kay Rinehart, born July 25, 1948, entered the presence of her Lord on November 6, 2025. In her final days, she was lovingly surrounded by her daughter and grandchildren.

Judy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Houston and Bessie Gilbert Tigert; her parents, Jordan Calvin and Katherine Nell Roberts; and her brother-in-law, Paul.

She is survived by her daughter, Melissa; grandchildren Christopher and wife Lauren Nicole, Lauren Ashley, William and wife Lina, and Emily; and great-grandchildren Cole, JJ, Jackie, and Thad. She also leaves behind her siblings J.C. and wife Darenda, Larry and wife Billie, and Kimberly, as well as her cousin Jo Lynn, Jo Lynn’s son Brad and his wife Amanda, her friend Peggy, her friend Jean, and many others who loved her.

Judy was a proud nurse whose compassion touched countless lives. She enjoyed oil painting, cherished quiet creative moments, and had an unmistakable love for Blue Bell ice cream, a love she shared generously with her grandchildren, often serving them a scoop for breakfast. Some of their fondest memories are of those sweet mornings and of watching her meet and delight in her great-grandchildren. She never missed a chance to tell them how proud she was of each of them and the families they were building.

Her family finds peace knowing that she is at home with the Lord. As Romans 8:38–39 reminds us:“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
