Con profundo respeto y sincero pesar anunciamos el fallecimiento de Lucindo Gonzalez-Guzman, quien partió de esta vida el 28 de mayo de 2026. Nacido el 30 de junio de 1958, Lucindo vivió una vida marcada por la dedicación, la bondad y un compromiso inquebrantable con su familia y su comunidad.

La educación temprana de Lucindo tuvo lugar en la Escuela Benito Juárez de Cruz de Costilla, Nuevo León, donde se sentaron las bases de una vida guiada por sólidos valores y una firme fe en Dios. A lo largo de los años, encarnó estos principios, viviendo con un espíritu positivo y un corazón compasivo.

Profesionalmente, Lucindo dedicó 15 años de servicio como empleado comprometido en Gooseneck Trailers en Bryan, Texas. Más adelante, su naturaleza trabajadora y su espíritu emprendedor lo llevaron a establecer su propio negocio especializado en hojalatería y pintura automotriz, así como en la compra y venta de vehículos usados. Su visión, arduo trabajo e inteligentes inversiones en propiedades fueron testimonio de su capacidad empresarial y de su incansable determinación. Por encima de todo, Lucindo se sentía orgulloso de haber podido proveer para sus seres queridos, inspirarlos y dejarles un legado duradero.

Quienes tuvieron la fortuna de conocer a Lucindo recordarán a un hombre de gran generosidad y calidez humana. Siempre estaba dispuesto a tender una mano amiga, ofreciendo ayuda sin vacilar, y con frecuencia era descrito como alguien que daría “la camisa que lleva puesta”. Su presencia brindaba consuelo y alegría; era una fuente natural de fortaleza, soluciones y aliento. Lucindo fue el pilar y el lazo que unía a su familia, cuyo amor y resiliencia sostuvieron a todos tanto en los momentos difíciles como en los felices.

Entre sus pasatiempos más apreciados, Lucindo atesoraba el tiempo compartido con sus hermanos, especialmente durante sus reuniones de café de los jueves por la mañana en McDonald’s, donde las historias, las risas y los recuerdos fluían libremente. También valoraba profundamente sus visitas a México para mantener el vínculo con el rancho familiar, honrando el legado dejado por sus padres y fortaleciendo lazos que trascendían generaciones. Hombre de fe firme, la vida de Lucindo fue un reflejo de su devoción a Dios y de los valores que guiaban su integridad y perseverancia.

La amorosa familia de Lucindo incluye a su devota esposa, Raquel González; sus hijas Mayra y esposo Victor Ramírez y Verónica y esposo Adrián Barajas, su hijo Lucindo González Jr.

Su legado continúa a través de sus queridos nietos Lucinda, Miranda, Jonathan, Benjamín, Adriana, Lucindo III, Diego, Hugo, Iván y Sara, así como de su bisnieta, Lucy.

La familia recibirá a quienes deseen acompañarlos el 2 de junio de 2026, de 5:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m., en Callaway-Jones Funeral Home And Crematory, ubicado en 3001 S College Ave, Bryan, TX 77801. Ese mismo día se llevará a cabo un Rosario a las 7:00 p.m. Al día siguiente, 3 de junio de 2026, se celebrará una Misa a las 11:00 a.m. en la Iglesia Católica Santa Teresa, ubicada en 1212 Lucky Street, Bryan, TX 77803. Posteriormente, a las 12:15 p.m., se realizará el sepelio en Bryan City Cemetery, ubicado en 1111 North Texas Avenue, Bryan, TX 77803.

La vida de Lucindo Gonzalez-Guzman fue una vida de logros significativos, amor sin límites e impacto duradero. Deja como herencia un legado de fortaleza, fe y generosidad que continuará inspirando a todos aquellos que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo. It is with profound respect and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Lucindo Gonzalez-Guzman, who departed this life on May 28, 2026. Born on June 30, 1958, Lucindo lived a life marked by dedication, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to family and community.

Lucindo’s early education was at Escuela Benito Juárez in Cruz de Costilla, Nuevo León, where the foundations were laid for a life guided by strong values and a steadfast faith in God. Throughout his years, he embodied these principles, living with a positive spirit and a compassionate heart.

Professionally, Lucindo spent 15 years as a devoted employee at Gooseneck Trailers in Bryan, Texas. His industrious nature and entrepreneurial spirit later led him to establish his own business specializing in automotive bodywork and painting, including the buying and selling of used cars. His keen vision, hard work, and intelligent investments in properties stood as a testament to his business acumen and tireless determination. Above all, Lucindo was proud of being able to provide for, inspire, and leave a lasting legacy to his loved ones.

Those fortunate enough to know Lucindo will remember a man of great generosity and warmth. He was always ready to lend a helping hand, offering kindness without hesitation, often described as one who would give “the shirt off his back.” His presence brought comfort and joy; a natural source of strength, solutions, and encouragement. Lucindo was the pillar and binding thread of his family, whose love and resilience supported everyone through both challenging and joyful times.

Among his cherished pastimes, Lucindo treasured the time spent with his brothers, especially during their Thursday morning coffee gatherings at McDonald’s, where stories, laughter, and memories flowed freely. He also deeply valued his visits to Mexico to connect with the family ranch, honoring the legacy left by his parents and fostering bonds that spanned generations. A man of firm faith, Lucindo’s life was a reflection of his devotion to God and the guiding values of integrity and perseverance.

Lucindo’s loving family includes his devoted wife, Raquel González; his daughters Mayra and Victor Ramirez, Verónica and husband Adrian Barajas ,his son Lucindo González Jr. His legacy is further carried on by his beloved grandchildren, Lucinda, Miranda, Jonathan, Benjamín, Adriana, Lucindo III, Diego, Hugo, Iván, and Sara, as well as his great-granddaughter, Lucy.

He was predeceased by his beloved parents, María Dolores Guzmán and Antonio González Morales.

He is survived by his brother Luis and wife (Reyna González+) brother Melchor and wife Dora González, sister Hermelinda and husband (Luis García+), sister Ignacia and husband (Angel Espinoza+) ,sister Bernardina González.


The family will receive visitors on June 2, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Callaway-Jones Funeral Home And Crematory, located at 3001 S College Ave, Bryan, TX 77801. A Rosary will be held on the same evening at 7:00 p.m. The following day, June 3, 2026, a Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at Santa Teresa Catholic Church, 1212 Lucky Street, Bryan, TX 77803. Burial will follow at 12:15 p.m. at Bryan City Cemetery, 1111 North Texas Avenue, Bryan, TX 77803.

Lucindo Gonzalez-Guzman’s life was one of meaningful achievement, boundless love, and enduring impact. He leaves behind a heritage of strength, faith, and generosity that will continue to inspire all who knew him. His memory will forever remain a beacon of warmth and hope to his family and friends.
