Margie M. Person, age 94, of College Station, Texas, entered into the presence of her Lord on December 18, 2025.
Margie was born on January 7, 1931, in Shongaloo, Louisiana, to Curtis A. Craighead and Chloie Leverett Craighead. She was raised in Mt. Lebanon, Louisiana alongside her brother, Joe Dale Craighead, and many close cousins. After graduating from high school, Margie attended business school in Shreveport, where she met the love of her life, Nat K. Person, Jr. After their marriage, they made College Station, Texas their permanent home, where they raised their three daughters, Janet Person Roberson, Jean Person Riordan, and Joan Person Bergeron.

She and Nat were devoted members of Calvary Baptist Church, where Margie served the Lord with a joyful heart in many roles, including Vacation Bible School volunteer, Women’s Sunday School teacher, pianist, and choir member. After retirement, she devoted countless hours to studying her Bible, serving her church, and tending the yard she loved. Gardening and being outdoors brought her great peace and joy.
