Marie Hall

Marie (Cauthen) Hall, passed away on September 19th 2025 in her home in Singleton. She called Grimes County home for 53 years. Her faith in God was strong and her and Lesslie were member of “Independent Church of Houston” for over 33 years.

Marie was born on April 13th, 1942 in Huntsville Tx to Dewitt and Sue Cauthen. She was married to her husband Lesslie for 53 years. She is preceded in death by her husband Lesslie, her son David Hall, her daughters Sandra Benefield and Laura Lechinger and her grandson Lesslie Vardeman.

She is survived by her loving son and daughter Johnny Hall of Singleton, and Debora Vardeman and husband Larry of Singleton.

14 Grandchildren, Jennifer and husband Brian Davila of Magnolia, Victoria and husband Curtis Helton, Rebbeca and husband Austin Wilson, Valerie Hughey, David and wife Chelsy Hall, Lance and wife Ashley Vardeman all of Singleton; Michelle and husband Brett Cooper, Austin and wife Amber Lechinger, Jospeh Hall, Daniel and wife Jamie Hall all of Shiro; Rachel and husband Andrew Garrison of Sheridan, Ashley Vardeman and Sonia Hall all of Houston.

16 Great-Grandchildren, Koda, Kira and Kyla Davila, Leland and Robert J Helton, Abagail Wilson, Leslie and Blake Hall, Kayden and Jace Hall, Alex Garrison Riley, Kaylin, Mallorie and Carson Cooper and newborn Emberlynn Hall.

She had two dear friends left in her life; Norma Jones and Lucille Meeks and they filled her days with love and laughter.

She will be buried in Singleton at the Singleton Cemetery with her husband and kids.
