Marie Elizabeth (Moerbe) O’Neill, 47, of College Station, TX, was joyously welcomed into her eternal home by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 21, 2025. Beloved by so many, including her husband of nearly 23 years, John O’Neill, her three amazing children Natalie, Caleb, and Shelby O’Neill, and many close family and friends, she loved others deeply. After graduation from Concordia Lutheran in Austin, TX, Marie planted the seeds of Jesus into the hearts of children for 20 years at Holy Cross Lutheran Preschool in College Station, TX. Our Lord has prepared a special place for her in His heavenly kingdom, where she now resides for eternity, and we rejoice that she will never feel pain, sorrow, or sickness ever again. One day, through the grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we will rejoice in His eternal kingdom with her. Marie was born in Baytown, TX, on November 02, 1977, to Betty and Randy Moerbe and baptized at Redeemer Lutheran Church on November 20, 1977. She was later confirmed at Bethel Lutheran Church in Bryan, TX, on March 29, 1992. She is survived by her parents, Betty and Randy Moerbe, of College Station, TX, her brother, Jonathan Moerbe, and his family, Jaimie, Eva and Ella, of Austin, TX, and her sister, Katy Hoffman and her family, Justin, Jacob and Cole, of College Station, TX. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family wishes to express their incredible gratitude to her Holy Cross and Bethel Lutheran Church families, her friends and the large extended family who supported them throughout her brain cancer battle. She fought the good fight, she has finished the race, and she has kept the faith. She now enjoys her crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, has awarded to her on that day.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that any donations be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Preschool, Bethel Lutheran Preschool, or University Lutheran Chapel at Texas A&M so that the gift of Jesus can continue to go out into the world.
