Mary Alice Mace

Mary Alice Holt Howell Mace passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025.

She was a former member of Central Baptist Church, a member of Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), and a Pink Lady at St. Joseph Hospital. She loved square dancing, loved to travel in her motorhome with her camping group. She loved to meet and greet at church on Sundays. She loved decorating and making bouquets for weddings. Her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchild were the sunshine of her life.

She was preceded in death by Harold Howell from Bryan, TX for 38 years. She was also preceded in death by J.E. Mace of Temple, TX. She is survived by her three daughters Marian Moore (Mike), Karen Berry, and Debra Taylor (Fred), grandchildren Alicia Griffin (Chris), Russel Walker (Tami), Kristi Hanhart (Richard Jr.), Jennifer Steward, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
